Not only did Amanda graduate in 2016, but she graduated Cum Laude, as the year book editor, and had two articles published in the Albuquerque Journal.
With all those accomplishments it is no surprise this girls bucket list goal is to be a successful New Yorker one day living in Manhattan. Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing and Psychology at the University of New Mexico, this over achiever pursued Make-A-Wish because of her passion for putting smiles on children’s faces and the way the organization strives to bring happiness into many deserving lives.
If you are ever considering bringing a midday snack in for Amanda, caramel apples are preferred and if you need a movie night she is always more than happy to watch her favorite movie, Funny Girl!
Another standout favorite for Amanda is her memories of Make-A-Wish kids she got to experience with her sisters in Chi Omega. They were able to host a wish party and Amanda had a blast with the little girl throwing crayons back and forth, and giggling the whole day! Amanda will be one of the social media interns for Make-A-Wish, and true to her favorite Alexander McQueen quote “Give me time and I’ll give you a revolution”, we can tell she is going to start one!
